About

Ny name is Amber Nash and I am the jewelry designer behind NaturalAmber. I have passion for many different crafts, and enjoy learning new how-to’s. Recently I have begun making beads with dried leaves attached to them. It is an interesting venture I am still learning. Growing is a wonderful adventure, and truly what keeps life interesting.

I live in Spokane, Washington which is about 250 miles east of Seattle. I love it out here, and living out here has really stirred much inspiration in me. I love the outdoors and spending time with my three year old sonĀ Carl.

Currently I am planning a trip to the Snake River to find beautiful rocks to tumble and polish to make into jewelry pieces.

Please check out my site on ETSY.

    Hi Amber,

I wasn’t sure where to post this (I’m so new to blogging!) but I love your blog! I just started mine a couple of days ago and still only have one post but I am a little more comfortable with the Etsylove.ning site. Anyhow, just wanted to give you a complement. BTW-I’m here in Orting WA!

    Hi Amber,

Your work is terrific and I’ve had so much fun reading your blog! Have you thought about increasing sales with a store on Shopflick?

Shopflick is an online marketplace where Etsy designers and artists like Miss Misa use video to share the passion behind their designs and showcase what makes their products unique. Shopflick markets your store and gives you marketing tools including an embeddable Video Store widget. The widget allows you to place your video on Facebook, blogs and websites and with a click sends people back to your Shopflick store. You can either create or use your own video, or take advantage of the Filmmakers Marketplace to arrange a professional video shoot for only $250 (similar shoots can costs thousands to produce but we are focused on commerce so provide the video at below cost). Fees are just a 12.5% commission (store fees are waived through the end of the year and will be $10 or $20/month in 2009). More information about selling on Shopflick and a form to request a video shoot can be found on Shopflick on the Sell tab.

I hope you will consider joining the community and increasing your sales. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

    All the best,
    Maria

Sent this again since it looked like it didn’t go through and I thought it might have been the links that through it off.

    Hi Amber,

I wanted to write and tell you about a new forum for artists, musicians, fashion designers, and filmmakers: PutItOn.com.The site allows artists from all over the world to connect, display their portfolios, and sell their work (with no commission taken). The site gives you a gigabyte of space to showcase your portfolio, allows you to stream audio and video works, lets you create live personal broadcasts for your followers, and translates any writing into ten different languages. If you could take the time to visit the site, let your readers know about it, and even sign up yourself and link to it on your site it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    All the best,
    Sarah at PutItOn.com
